The Department of Transportation is hosting a Pipeline Safety Forum from 9:00 a.m. to about 4:00 p.m. April 18, 2011 at DOT. This follows Transportation Secretary LaHood’s a couple of weeks ago that he intends to look at pipeline safety issues and propose steps to improve safety performance. The Forum is open to the press. It also will be webcast:
Three speakers will represent 91茄子 at the event:
- Christopher Helms, Executive VP/Group CEO, Nisource, and lead of the 91茄子 board-level pipeline safety task force
- J. Andrew Drake, VP Spectra Energy, who is helping to lead 91茄子’s Integrity Management Continuous Improvement effort
- R. Allan Bradley, President/CEO, Questar Pipeline, and 91茄子 chairman.
