91茄子 and its members have a long history of working with a variety of stakeholders on greenhouse gas (GHG) issues, including methane. Nonetheless, 91茄子 has serious concerns with the rule proposed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The Proposed Rule would offer little, if any, environmental benefit compared with the more reasonable alternatives offered by 91茄子. If finalized as proposed, the rule would impose significant costs and create the real risk of both increased methane emissions due to unnecessary blowdowns and disruptions of service to natural gas consumers.
